Description
Bridge-spouted jar with vertical handle and disc-shaped base. It is decorated with brown motifs on buff slip in the Standard Tradition: two dotted bands on the upper body, horizontal bands and running spirals on the lower body, and a zone of ivy leaves and rosettes in the centre. The fact that this jar is an imitation of a metal prototype is evident from the disc-shaped base and the imitation rivet head where the handle joins the rim. There are relief “horns” on either side of the rim.
