Description
Palm-leaf Linear B tablet recording the delivery of a wheeled chariot, a cuirass of unspecified type and a horse to man named “Triopas” (ti-ri-jo-qa). The tablets of the Sc series from the Room of the Chariot Tablets are dated earlier than the rest of the Knossian Linear B tablets. Most of them record the delivery of a wheeled chariot, a horse and some type of cuirass to named men. The generally fine, deep lines of the tablets from the Room of the Chariot tablets were probably incised with a bronze stylus.
