Description
Palm-leaf tablet probably referring to a transaction involving a “Cypriot” (ku-pi-ri-jo) and olive oil, as indicated by the word o-no, meaning “compensation”. This is one of the tablets in series FH by Hand 141, which records different stages in the distribution of olive oil from Knossos: the dispatch of oil from the oil-presses, collective receipts of oil, and the sending of batches of oil to various professionals and sanctuaries.
