Description
Palm-leaf tablet recording the delivery of three hilted swords by the artisan “Kykalos” (ku-ka-ro), whose name appears at the beginning of the tablet in large characters. The term pa-ka-na/phasgana is mentioned 25 times in the Homeric epics, which postdate the Linear B tablets, and signifies both swords and daggers.
