Description
Inscribed clay roundel. The inscription includes the logogram for “bull” and the number 5. The five impressions by the same seal around the edge of the roundel may correspond to the five bulls recorded and indicate a transaction involving them. Roundels were used for transactions involving the transport of a commodity, either within the central administration or between the central administration and an external agent. They were kept together in one place as a record of completed outgoing transactions.
