Description
Carnelian cylinder seal in the talismanic style with stylised running animals. The lions’ manes and forelegs are depicted by lines, while their eyes and nostrils are rendered with drill holes. A waterbird and an agrimi (wild goat) complete this abstract scene, which is marked by its lack of perspective.
