Description
Chalcedony cushion seal perforated along the central axis. The sealing surface has gold end-mounts and is carved with a pictorial scene. A large animal, probably a lion, is walking left, led by a man. The animal is wearing a collar around its neck and has its tail raised. A second male figure follows. Filling motifs in the shape of a single or two joining circles are shown near the animal’s tail and in front of its forelegs respectively.
