Description
Bronze tongs for use in food preparation, transporting coals and perhaps also for industrial activities involving the use of fire, such as the production of metal objects. The tongs were found with another twisted example in the palace of Zakros. It is worth noting that such objects are also mentioned on a Linear B tablet from the palace of Pylos in Messenia recording cult equipment.
