Description
Silver hemispherical bowl with running spiral decoration beaten over a hard core (repouss?). It is part of a hoard of four metal vessels found in the South House, a three-storey building next to the southwest corner of the palace of Knossos. The vessels were probably stored in a wooden box in the west room of the building. They may have belonged to the cult equipment of a shrine.
