Description
Terracotta plaque with bas-relief scene. In the centre is a regal figure seated on a throne and holding a sceptre. A woman and a man are standing over the figure, the woman gripping his arm and the man threatening him with a sword. The scene has been interpreted as the murder of Agamemnon by Aegisthus and Clytemnestra.
