Description
Terracotta plaque depicting two frontal female figures holding hands, their arms crossing in a central stylised X. They are wearing long garments. Their facial features are worn, while their hair is in the Daedalic style, resembling an Egyptian wig. This hairstyle, found in both male and female figures, is typical of the Early Archaic period of the 7th century BC throughout the Greek world.
