Sacred Caves
Description
This clay figurine head was found with other human figurines deposited as votive offerings in the sacred cave of Psychro. It is in the characteristic "Daedalic" or Orientalising style, with highly stressed facial features and large, almond-shaped eyes. The hair is in the "layered wig" style.
