Description
Bronze worshipper figurine made of bronze rods hammered and welded together. This construction technique has affected the shape of the figurine, which is not much differentiated from the square shape of the rod. It depicts a male figure with right hand raised forwards in a gesture of prayer and left hand bent on the breast. The facial features are schematically rendered and the head bears a band. The shaping of the top of the head indicates that the figure was probably attached to another object.
