Description
Four-spouted limestone lamp. It has a low cylindrical base, two lugs instead of handles, relief decoration of leaves around the rim and a central cavity with an incised edge. The lamp was used to light the central wing of the Minoan megaron of Vathypetro, while its quality indicates that it served a symbolic purpose.
