Description
Two-spouted serpentine lamp with tall foot of stacked rings terminating in a conical base. It has a central cavity with two spouts set opposite each other. Under the rim are two oval lugs instead of handles. The lamp was used to light the central wing of the Minoan megaron of Vathypetro, while its quality indicates that it served a symbolic purpose.
