Knossos Cemeteries
Description
Silver cup with gilded handle and rim. It is one of the vessels made completely of silver or gold that first appear in Crete during this period. Found in a chamber tomb named the “Silver Cup Tomb” in the cemetery of Agios Ioannis near Knossos.
