Knossos Cemeteries
Description
Necklace consisting of a chain of small gold spherical beads and a gold-mounted sard seal, mended from three pieces. The surface of the seal depicts a bull. The suspension holes in the seal are covered with disc-shaped pieces of gold foil in order to attach it to the chain. Found in Tomb 4 of the Sellopoulo Cemetery near Knossos.
