Stone stele that formed a step in the staircase of the agora of ancient Dreros. The scene depicts a nude, bearded man and a smaller-scale pillar topped with a sphinx. At top right is a small male figure walking left. The central upper part of the stele is occupied by an eagle in flight, with impressive wings. On the lower part of the stele, divided from the upper section by a diagonal line, is a Gorgoneion (Medusa head) framed by snakes.
