Description
Ring with granulated border and an indecipherable scene on the bezel. Granulation is a technique named after the tiny gold spheres known as granules. Together with filigree, it is one of the main techniques used in gold jewellery decoration. It became widespread from the end of the Hellenistic period and into the Roman era.
