Description
Bee pendant of thin cut-out gold sheet. Repoussé dots form the outline of the insect, the head, the eyes and the triangular line of the “neck”. The space between head and neck contains repoussé lines. On the back of the pendant is a cylindrical wire suspension loop. Granulation, meaning decoration with tiny gold spheres known as granules, first appears in prehistoric times.
